Can you relate to this?
Imagine… You’ve always been healthy and active.
You’ve always exercised regularly and enjoyed being involved with your family.
Then… within 2 months you unexpectedly gain 20 pounds.
Now… the simple act of grocery shopping feels like an insurmountable challenge.
And relentless brain fog forces you into a cycle of needing multiple naps just to navigate through the day.
Meet Forefront Health Ambassador, Shavon
Meet Shavon, the woman who didn’t stop being an advocate for herself and her health even when the doctors told her “nothing was wrong” with her.
Described above is just a glimpse of what her life looked and felt like 10 years ago, and we’re thrilled to say that it is NOT what her life is like now.
Shavon’s story started all the way back in 2013, when she recalls that…
“One specific day I came home from my volunteer work and fell asleep on the couch. I’ve never been the kind of person to take a nap. That day I was supposed to meet a friend. She came to my house looking for me when I didn’t show up or answer the phone. It was that day I started to realize something wasn’t right.”
Soon after that she started gaining weight, and experiencing brain fog so badly that basic tasks became impossible. (You might have experienced this before as well.)
She went to the doctor, got blood tests done, and was told everything was fine! (Maybe this sounds familiar too.)
But her exhaustion persisted, dismissed as a byproduct of the demanding role of motherhood.
We’ve heard that story before and know it’s simply not the truth.
So Shavon kept pushing to find answers about her health, and a year later she ended up in an endocrinologist’s office, with a hypothyroidism diagnosis.
The prescribed thyroid medications brought some relief, but the weight clung stubbornly, and a cloud of fatigue persisted.
Shavon, once a vibrant and confident individual, found herself grappling with self-doubt and mental health challenges.
Hypothyroidism can be very misunderstood, so she was made to feel lazy due to lack of energy and not being able to do what other moms were doing.
Shavon struggled with her self-confidence and mental health which had never happened prior to this diagnosis. She says:
“I got to a point where I just accepted the fact that this was my life. The rest of my life would not be not like the first part of my life. I accepted that I would never lose the weight. I accepted that I would never have enough energy. And I accepted the fact that I would never be able to think clearly.”
Relief started in the form of Raw Desiccated Thyroid from a company that ended up going out of business.
So when Shavon started searching for alternative ways to get ahold of Raw Desiccated Thyroid… that’s how she found us.
She was excited to have found a platform that not only sold the supplement she so desperately needed, but also prioritized education as well.
“I started to feel a difference right away. Within a week and a half.”
Shavon now had the energy to start working out again, this helped her lose the weight gained from her hypothyroidism, which led to a huge boost in self confidence.
Her relationships with her family improved as well, which has given her the gift of presence – something you can’t replace.
After feeling such an improvement from taking Raw Desiccated Thyroid, Shavon started adding other supplements to her daily routine and is now doing better than ever before.
What does Shavon’s daily supplement routine look like?
Her current supplement line up includes:
- Raw Desiccated Thyroid
- Molecular Progesterone Progesterone
- Collagen Protein Powder
- Eggshell Calcium
- Thyro-Protect Vitamin E
- Vitamin ADK Thyroid Formula
- Vitamin B Thyroid Complex
“When I tell you I feel like my life has done a 180. I actually feel better than I did before I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism.”
In reflecting on the last decade of her journey to the happiest, healthiest version of herself, Shavon has some advice for those who have just been diagnosed with hypothyroidism or are discovering their own thyroid dysfunction.
“Do more research. Be your own advocate. You know your body better than anyone else, do the research.”
We asked her to think back and tell us what she wishes she would have known at the start of her journey and she perfectly said:
“I think more people are finding out that being diagnosed with hypothyroidism isn’t the end. It’s a starting point for getting your life back. If I could have anything I think it would be for more people to find out about Forefront health like I did.”
Shavon is now a Forefront Health Ambassador and loves to share her incredible transformative story, which is why we’re sharing it here with you.
In the face of adversity, Shavon emerged not merely as a survivor but as a victor—her life a testament to the possibility of reclaiming joy, energy, and confidence.
Shavon, we are so proud of your progress and moved by your strength, and thank you for sharing your story that will encourage and inspire many, MANY others.
